The Retreat for Trout Fishing and Skiing


Meekatharra Cottage is a self contained 3 bedroom log cabin located on a working 300 acre cattle property in the Snowy Mountains.

The cottage overlooks the Murrumbidgee River and has a 1km private access to the river, perfect for trout fishing and as a base for skiing all at a reasonable rate.

Snowy Mountains Location

Meekatharra Cottage is well situated in the Snowy Mountains and in close proximity to Lake Eucumbene and other trout fishing rivers and streams. It is also close to ski fields with a 45min drive to Selwyn ski fields and a 1.5hr drive to Thredbo and other nearby ski fields. There are many interesting and enjoyable drives within a 2hr radius of the cottage including Canberra, Lanyon Homestead near Canberra, Yarrangobilly Caves, Tumut, Jindabyne and the many interesting walking trails in the area.

It is the perfect place to relax and unwind with family and friends or enjoy the fishing and skiing the region is famous for.
